Me and my tonsils

Dear me, time sure flies. It feels like it was just summer and now the leaves are already falling. I have been a busy boy and been at school every monday evening. I try to do my homework too - of course, with help of some persuation. Preferably meatballs, but I don't say no to liver candy either.

The school has been alright, except for the fact that the teacher made me wear a muzzle. Now my folks put it on everytime we go out. Hate to say it, but I have lost all desire to go for walks. When they take out the leash, I hide under the table. "Come on, let's go for a walk". Yeah, right... Please go ahead if you feel like it. I prefer to stay home.

I have been at the vet today. My nose has been running for awhile. First they thought I had gotten some sort of nasal mites (yuck), so I got a load of pills. Yes, I did swallow them without problem. I'm a sucker for meatballs. According to my folks my predecessor didn't fall for that trick, but - hey - I'm only seven months. And I'm a boy. Not very smart, am I...

Today my folks took my back to the vet. I was sedated, got my nose flushed and nails clipped. I think someone poked in my throat too. The vet said something about infected tonsils and taking samples. No idea what she meant, but my throat sure is sore. I sure haven't been a very good investment for the insurance company.
